Advanced Planning Presents: Retirement Planning After the SECURE Act and CARES Act with Natalie Choate
Northwestern Mutual invites you to participate in a live webinar on retirement planning after the SECURE Act and CARES Act with Natalie Choate. The SECURE Act significantly changed retirement planning. These changes include changes to the required beginning date from age 70 ½ to 72, allowing for deductible IRA contributions after age 70 ½, and the elimination of stretch planning for many beneficiaries. The CARES Act eliminated required minimum distributions for 2020, expanded qualified plan loan options, and created an expanded 10% penalty exception in the wake of COVID-19. The question becomes: What should planners be evaluating to help their clients? Hear what nationally renowned expert Natalie Choate is evaluating with her clients.
